I've got a simular digital tuning box, has the PD160 intake made much difference?

Think at some point I'll go to Celtic tuning and get a remap, they claim to get 145bhp from a PD100, dont know how true that is though.

I believe the PD160 has made a slight difference to performance.

As I've got it at about 75% I reckon about 120bhp, maybe a little less.

What sort of mpg do you get from yours?

I get average 47mpg, thats a return commute of 12 miles 4 days a week, a bit of town driving and some fun driving

I average about 45mpg (8 mile return commute, 5 days a week and a bit of fun at weekends).

The box is on lowest setting (1 of 7) and produce 123bhp and 215lb/ft at RS Tuning rollers. It's going on another RR this weekend and I'm hoping for 130-135bhp and 225-230lb/ft on the highest setting

Pretty much the same MPG as me then.

Would be good to know what sort of BHP its putting out with a digital tuning box on full, it will be vRS BHP by the sounds of it!

I'm going to pikey an Air intake with some Air Duct Hose, as its actually value for money where as the PD160 replacement is way to expensive IMO.

Did u buy your intake when it was still cheap ish?

I'm so glad to find someone else with a non vRS! :p

Got the PD160 with the tuning box

Thats ideal then!

This weekend I'm going to pikey a new air intake and adjust the tuning box to maybe 90% which is setting 21 of 24.

Hopefully it will make a difference. Will take it to a RR at some point this spring to see what its running at.

What's the black mark on the front bumper? Is it a sticker or a scuff?
