im installing my amp in the boot of my octavia vrs, i have mounted the amp on the rear seat. Where is the best place to connect the negative lead to?

Seat belt lower mounting is normally pretty good.

ok thanks, will go and have a look a that now.

that or in the hatches at either side of the boot, one of the rear light mounts just rub the paint back to bare metal!

Yeah but if your mounting the amp on the seat that's a long way to go and ideally you want to keep the earth lead as short as possible, also remember it has to be the same gauge as your supply cable.

The seatbelt lower mount was a good suggestion! i opened the supplied connector out a little, rubbed a bit of the paint off and hey presto a really good earth point. i needed a good earth point as im running a 4 gauge wiring kit.

Thanks for the advice, spot on!
