just wondering if anyone makes uprated side mounts for fabia vrs?

is the side mount on the fabia same as the golf pd130's?

There was a "smax" smic that looked like it fitted that jason posted up a while ago. I think there was a uprated forge item for the 1.8T that might also fit. With both if you havent already id say itd be worth doing the "pikey arch mod".

get a FMIC made cost me less than £200 to have mine made and fit it myself

makes a big differance and also gives the engine a totaly different sound i also designed and fitted a water sprayer to keep it extra cool under full chat

nice mate do you have to cut anything away or that?

i want to keep my front bumper as normal dont fancy the big mount bumper

i cut away the bumper because i wanted to give the intercooler as much air as possible other wise i couldnt see the point plus it turns heads now. I had to cut away the number plate area and fog light holders BUT this was my choice and i had to trim the crash bar a tiny bit so it fitted flush to it but its my car and im no sheep so i like to make things my own in my own style is that makes sense

cut a section of the inner **** guard out and replace with a vent, in order to let any ''hot'' air escape from around the intercooler

theres the forge 1.8T uprated smic, which works with the pd130...

its around £400 though...

theres also one on ebay that pops up now and again for £199! for a 1.8t but will also fit a pd130

its called turbo revs (none on atm tho)

Jase you defo sure the ones for the golfs fit the fabia? as theres a group buy on just now for the turborevs one getting it 94quid delivered brand new

i cannot say for 100% but for 95 quid surely its a gamble worth taking...

someone over on uk mkiv's put one on there pd130 golf so id assume it would fit...

Octy MK1 is based on the Golf floor though. I'd be happier if someone had fitted this to a Polo/Fabia/Ibiza. IMO if the factory shroud or similar won't fit, it's not worth doing... Unless one DIY's the shroud.

i've a uprated SMIC for sale due to a change of plan. never been used @ £75 what i paid for it. just an FYI incase ppl are lookin for 1 if not then please ignore

Don't Darkside do an uprated Side mount?

My brother has fitted the turbo revs one to his pd130 Octy. Not had a chance to trial fit it on the Fabia though

I recall the orientation is wrong so none of them fit a fabia
