How to keep it clean

Featured Replies

I have tried to post a pic of my car, But cannot seem to do it.

I have a white Superb SE only 2 months old, Only done about 2,000 miles

The only problem with it is if you clean it, it looks really nice. But on a closer look the dirt looks like it is ground in (Stained). T-cut does get it out but I don’t want to T-cut it every time on the troublesome places. Is there anything you can recommend to stop this happening.

Hi

I am no expert, but if you use a clay bar to get off any dirt that is stuck to the paint (wash and clean car first) then a good polish should make life easier in the future.

My wife got a white 500 and even when new paint felt rough to the touch, quick clay and polish now its great.

Yep. Go get some bilt-hamber clay, and decent polish.

Open an account (free) with photobucket (www.photobucket.com) and securely upload your photo's there.

Once uploaded each picture will be assigned a 'direct link'.

Copy this link into the "insert image" box at the top of your post and voila!

are you sure it's not tar spots and not dirt? With all some of the pot holes being repaired my wife's white car is getting tons of tar spots at the moment.

If so, you can use something like Tardis, or Autoglym's tar remover.

Cheers

Steve

Tardis and Iron X are what you need.

Tardis for the tar and Iron X for the iron particles embedded in the paint. Both spray on, hose/wipe off. They work a treat.
