Battery Disconnected, Auto Full Up/Down Windows Not Working?

Featured Replies

So the battery was disconnected recently and ever since then I can't "flick" the window switch to make the windows go all the way down/up with a single touch. This isn' the first time its done this as it did the same when I had the battery replaced over Christmas but when it came back from Unit 18 they were working again.

Any idea whats up with it and what I can do to fix it?

Wind window down and back up, hold switch in up position for 10 seconds, should reset one touch function

From the manual;

Operational faults

Electrically operated power windows do not operate

If the battery of the car has been disconnected and then reconnected, the electrically

operated power windows do not operate. The system must be activated.

Proceed as follows in order to re-establish the function:

• turn the key in the lock of the driver door into the closing position and hold it

there until all of the windows are closed,

• release the key,

• Once again insert the key and turn it into the closing position for about 3

seconds.
