Im thinking about getting an induction kit (£70) for my fabia 1.2,

Would the performance increase be noticeable?

Its supposed to save some fuel too? is this a real world statement or fantasy?

Also, Would i be better just going for a K&N box filter (£30) instead of the induction kit?

May sound abit more throaty but I doubt its going to give you any significant performance increase. Fuel economy will suffer it it does sound better as you will be tempted to put your foot down more!

don't forget you will need to declare this mod to your insurance company and they will hike the premium accordingly. I may be wrong but I don't think there is any need to declare a panel filter.

exhaust and intake modifications of a highly strung performance normally aspirated engine yield very small gains.

However on a turbo car an exhaust or intake can yield very large gains. Ive had K&N/pipercross panel filters and they have done nothing at all.
