i averaged 9mpg over 20 laps of the ring in my octavia iirc refilling a 60 litre tank every 130 miles is an eye opener

1 tank of fuel to get me there and back and 2.5 tanks of fuel for a days tracking. thank god i was getting tax free fuel. When i moved to monchongladbach( about 95 mile from nurburg) i was over the moon. Destroyed all my savings in tyres, fuel, modifications and at least 2 days a month down there. expensive hobby. Probably a good thing i got moved back to UK, id be bankrupt now
