Featured Replies

As some springs are up for grabs, does anyone have any pics of a 20mil drop (eibach or otherwise) on a octy2 with 18in rims?

Spankyou :)

This is mine last year, [skoda accessory] eibachs plus [pants] Koni FSD. Its about a 20mm drop. TBH you can hardly tell. Looks much better at -36mm!

20mil are the ones supplied as the aftermarket drop via skoda them selves..

Also.. any other springs (say vw accessory) fit? mk5 golf gti? or slight differance?

Better off sticking with Eibachs for quality I would say. For more of a drop as Rob says you need to put them with some updated Koni's,etc

I just bagged a set of lightly used Eibachs for £25, just need to find a cost effective way of fitting them.

£25!!!!!!!!!!!! Are they made from cardboard?

Someone clearly didn't know what they were selling....

Eibach are the clear choice for a quality spring. You're right, Skoda did use them as the official lowering spring accessory, but they've now been withdrawn for some reason.....

I'd choose them over Spax any day.

EBay, buy it now for £45 or starting bid of £25. Noone had bid come 1 minute to go so I did, for that money it was a no brainer! From the pic they look like new with just a bit of flakey paint where they sat in the seats.
