I have xenon headlights and recently got my car repaired under insurance. They removed my old housing for some reason even though it's fine so I am looking at putting it up on Ebay. Does anyone know the part number for this or what to advertise it as? I know its a headlight housing but want to be a bit more specific.

It should have the part number stamped on it somewhere, have a good look all over it.

O/S (assuming it is a RHD car) headlight for a ... (insert your year and model)

The part number will also be on the box as well as either moulded into the headlight or on a white sticker.

Double check that non of the locating points are broken on the casing.

Yes sorry I mean Xenon. Is this unit specific for Xenon lamps or both?

AFAIK it's for Xenons only, although I stand to be corrected. I think it has the ballast built into it for the Xenons.

A pricey item new I would think!

MKII Octy, 07 plate. I'm pretty sure it's pre-facelift as I don't have the curvey grille and the LED lights.
