Activating Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi To everyone

I'm new to the site & live in Cleveland UK.

I bought a 1.4TSI Auto for personal use in January this year. I've had a diesel & another petrol model previously.

I'm very happy with the car & intend to keep it for a few years.

However, I would appreciate some advice from anyone who knows the answer.

I thought I would connect my new Blackberry to be able to use hands free.

The drivers manual is very straight forward, just go into settings : phone & pair up the car & the phone.

My phone cant find the car. I also tried with my old phone,a Nokia. Same result.

It seems there is another function necessary on the car set up procedure, but I cant find it. Both the phones can pair up instantly with my wife's car, a Ford, so it's not the phone. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Hi billy

Yes,we are at Ingleby Barwick. Can you tell me how to do a physical check please?

Thanks

Hi Luke,

The factory fitted bluetooth unit is a seperate unit and is usually fitted under the drivers seat, slide your drivers seat right back and there should be a squarish bump in the carpet, if there is a bluetooth unit fitted it should be under there. Also go to the ICE section and ask in there for more experienced advice.
