found today while my car was bin washed . . .

it seems the wing mirror heaters are constantly on ..

anyone had problems like this or konw what will be wrong with em ? ? ?

Turn them off??? Will just eventually wear out the motor id guess

Turn the adjuster knob to either L or R

Leaving it in the middle means the mirrors are on. :thumbup:

is it realy as simple as just turnin it to the left or right . . . =]

i thought they only came on when ya switched the rear heated screen on . . .?

They do that as well, for a pre-set time IIRC.

But if you just wanted the mirrors on you would

just turn them to the central position. :thumbup:

quite a silly design on skoda's part i think . . haha . . coz if ya knock the switch while in left or right position ya gonna mess ya mirrors up =[
