hi got a surperb 2.0 elegance when i start it up if i grab the steering wheel and turn it it screeches if i give it a little revs it does not it only does this when im siting there still and turn the wheel as soon as i give a little revs it goes any idea guys thanks

Sounds like your belt is worn or loose there are 2 belts on the superb check the tension on the power steering one

Does the screech sound like belt screech or the pump screech.

An occassional pump screech with steering turned to (almost) full lock is normal with these pumps - it is quite high pressure PS system.

I had it a few times over last 5 years, though I have not heard it for a while.

If it is the belt screeching, you need to check belt/tensioner and all rollers.
