Ive got a Fabia VRS SE, and would much prefer it to sound just a little bit meatier, and have a deeper sounds to it? could any1 help me? which sounds better a milltek or blueflame? Cheers,

I heard a rumour a few months ago that Blueflame have gone out of business. I don't know if it was true and if now they are back in business.

Neither will make it much louder tbh, bit deeper, and will look nice tho. Is pick on looks, which is down to you really

Although from what i've seen/heard, my opinion is...

Milltek looks better, but Blueflame sounds better.

I'm running a Milltek, and you only hear it more on high revs.

Around town etc, you'd struggle to hear a difference.

what about a mufflerectomy? alot cheaper option and nice sound in my opinion, you can choose a custom tail pipe aswell too.

Ive got a miltek and think its sound awsome for a derv, wouldnt change it for anything else. Depends if u have a decat or not a think.

It's actually quite loud inside the car on full throttle when the back seats are down.

Milltek looks better too IMO, blueflame looks like a bigger version of a letterbox !

Nope, my Blueflame is 2.5'', as I had to get a sleeve piece made to join it to my 2.5'' Miltek decat pipe as the two just butted up against each other, due to being the same diameter

Would a turbo back milltek five more power?

Ive got a blueflame at the moment very happy with the performance and once above certain rpm it does sound alot more meatier....if thats a word. Just wish it had the twin tail pipes like the milltek. Not sure wether to get a mufflerectomy or sell blueflame for a milltek..... what can i say i have OCD

Quiet during normal driving and loads of turbo noise and a

meatier rumble when giving it the beans.

Wouldn't change it for the world.

Is yours slap bang in the centre mate? mines it alittle closer on one side than the other. It drives my ocd mad!!

Milltek full system, take off the back box and leave it in the shed/garage/loft/cupboard under stairs, go to piper/powerflow/any exhaust centre and have a straight pipe made up to slip on over the milltek the same way the milltek came off with any tip you desire. Hit boost and it sounds like you're under fire from a big aircraft of some sort. Drive sensibly and get a woooooo noise when you clutch it to change gear. Not droney and loud when cruising on motorways and if you go to a meeting with the queen, slip on the milltek back box and it's silent again!

Just my suggestion.

I just got a mufflerectomy done a few weeks back and it does sound awesome, a lot cheaper and as mentioned before can choose a tip you like or do what I done and stick with the standard tip

I'm booked in for mufflerectomy today... still not decided on either oval or twin pipe... we will see.
