Arch Work

Featured Replies

Just had new tyres put on my Spiders (205/40) and now I rub on the outside when cornering hard around right corners... This never happened last time I had a new set. I'm not gunna be able to get 15mm spacers on without raising her a LOT so I need some sort of arch work but they're all plastic... WTF can be done?

Remove the Arch lining and use a lot of wax oil

yeah i wouldnt do it!

it looks poop and will wreck your arches in no time!!

personally i would ditch the spiders and get some brembo friendly wheels, spacers wreck wheel bearings and bushes too

Same tyres? -weird...

If not, you had T1Rs before, what have you got now? despite (allegedly) being the same size, tyre sizes can vary, with some tyres having a more 'tuck' friendly shape.

Stop going so fast around corners, ie slow down a-bit, there could be a drivers welfare officer (policeman) with a speed gun just waiting for you. emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

This is why I have the mongrel at a "sensible" ride height. :D

I'm going to worry about mine 17's but got to use pcd adapters pushing the rim out 20 mm lowered the car by 20mm I think or 15? I couldn't have it low as speed bumps galore in st Austell.
