Hi,need quickie guide if possible to changing brake pads on my new FABIA 1.2 Comfort 04 plate?

I've had the NSF wheel off and the pads need changing.

Has a look at the caliper and can only see 2 rubber covers, are these where the caliper bolts are?

And when I get the bolts out, does the caliper completley lift off, or does it hinge upwards to provide access to the pads?

Sorry to be a pain, but changed plenty of pads before but never on a Skoda/VW car before.

yea, thats it, the caliper bolts are on the inside under the rubber/plastic covers.

Be very careful when getting them out, and especially when putting them back in, they are prone to going wrong if you don't line them up very well.

If it goes wrong it's new hub time.

You'll need a 7mm allen key to undo the bolts. If your getting replacement pads from a motor factors take the old ones with you, because there seems to be quite a few variations for the Fabia.
