PD130/PD150 Turbo in a PD100?

Featured Replies

Would a PD130/150 turbo fit a PD100? and what sort of increase would I expect pre and post remap?

I believe it would be a straight swap and you would probably get around 150-160bhp at a guess

I'm planning on doing this, once funds and insurance allow

Sweet, Im so tempted as this is a pretty cheap upgrade for the % increase in BHP and Torque etc

i think you might need the injectors aswell to make maximum use of the biger turbo could be wrong tho

Yep, you need PD130 or PD150 injectors. Don't get too worried about which ones, they're the same part. You'd really also want to upgrade your drivetrain too beyond normal remap levels. It's been said many a time that the Mk3 Golf VR6 clutch and Corrado G60 flywheel fit onto 5-speed VAG TDi's as found in the Golf etc, so in theory it should work on the Fabia. I'll let you know for sure during the Easter break!

I'm in the process of collecting go-faster bits for my PD100 :)

Are the injectors the same?

EDIT: Blah, didn't read above.

Between the PD130 and the PD150, yes  PD100 uses different ones.

Edit: Didn't see your edit! :giggle:
