ABS fault

Featured Replies

I recently had my VRS ABS unit rebuilt (they say, they might just have fitted a used one as it was done on purchase of the car) by a garage due to the usual fault. ABS and ESP lights are now off. However VCDS shows the following fault codes for ABS.

01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded

003 - Mechanical Failure - Intermittent

00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30

002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201)

012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit

It looks at the very least that they haven't cleared fault codes after refitting the ABS module. I'm a little concerned at the Control Module Incorrectly Coded error since this seems to suggest possible limited functionality. Does this mean ESP etc may not be fully operational? The car is going back to the garage & I want ammunition to make sure things are put right fully.

They need to clear the faults, code the module and then perform the associated adaptions (G85, G201, etc).
