2011 Ford Escape 3.0 V6 Limited

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just back from a week in Florida, where i had a Ford Escape, 3.0L V6 with 240 bhp and only 1800 miles on the clock as a hire car.

It was;

High, wallowie, beige, dull, bland... American... and i couldnt wait to get back into my Skoda!

This is it, outside the villa we rented;

it did however, have a few redeeming features.

Sirius Satellite radio was great, a HUGE storage space (could be made larger by removing the inner liner) behind where the handbrake should be (it was a foot-operated parking brake) and LED lights in the foot wells, and cup holders, which you could (wait for it) change colour with a button on the dash! - Yellow, Blue, baby blue, White, Pink, Red, Purple and, off!

according to the clock / computer, over the 600 miles we covered in a week, it managed to achieve 23mpg. - taking into account the US gallon is smaller than or own, and the fuel was $3.07 per GALLON, it faded into insignificance.. (app 52p / L)

Would i swop it for my Skoda? no thanks. but for the price

Al.
