Hello everyone!

17 Years old, my pay day is March and I'm starting my driving lessons so hope to be on the road real soon.

Insurance quotes have been a nightmare but I'm settled on a pre-2000 (ie, 1999 or before) Skoda Felicia 1.3, cheapest quote of all the cars I've done. 2.5k with Admiral, third party fire and theft. After just a year of driving, this drops to 900 fully comp, so, whilst I have no other fixed costs, I figure I may aswell get it done

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, will take a look around.

I already had a lot of help to fix broken gear selector - thanks! I also found that the passenger side front suspension spring has broken - so I'm off to the garage for that! However, electrical issues ongoing. Here's the story: skoda octavia mk3 2013 tdi estate Car sat for 8 months. AGM battery flat and won't recharge New AGM battery Not recoded as yet. Battery at 11 volts. On overnight charge with smart charger AGM, rises to 12 volts. clicking sound (starter solenoid?) when battery is attac

I have always thought my rear suspension a little soft when towing or even with a full tank. I fitted rubber assisters and this has helped hugely but I would like a little more permanent solution. How can I tell if springs such as these - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lesjofors/9735347 are heavier duty? It does say for towing. Would fitting new shocks (Bilstein B6?) help as well? I suppose crawling under to see what shocks I have, and what springs I have may a good idea anyway? I think the
