does the 1.2 tsi have a engine cover like the vrs

As good as the 1.2 TSi engine is, VAG have been a bit cheapskate with providing it with a decent engine cover. The HT lead clip serves as the TSi badge on it, looks pretty awful really. 1.4 TSi twincharger unit looks much more substantial,even though underneath the cover it probably looks just as awful.

Am I correct in saying that the 1.4 TSi is a twin cam 16 valve whereas the 1.2 is a single cam 8 valve?

I actually prefer to see the engine. I love keeping mine clean and shiny. I find engine covers look exactly what they are, a big lump of BORING plastic. Keeping the engine bay spruced up plays a big part in my enjoyment of the car..everyone to his own..as they say :p
