In next weeks(9/3/11) Autoexpress the Yeti Greenline takes on the Ford C max and the Golf.

Talk about comparing apples with oranges- why not the Tiguan or whatever it is called?:wonder:

The Golf was on our list too, along with the A3, Qashqui etc.

If you think of the Yeti as a 'family' car, the Golf is the traditional choice, the C-Max the modern default and the Yeti a new interpretation on the theme.

Likewise - we started looking at the Golf when we needed a car with room for a dog (expensive, not enough room) - then looked at the Golf Plus (too expensive, limited options) and Qashqai (inflexible load space, thirsty or slow depending on engine) before ending up with the Yeti. The 4x4 capabilities have just been a bonus in the last couple of winters.
