Hi folks, I am currently looking to buy a second car for my partner to ferry the children around in. I have been looking at a year 200 1.4 MPI Fabia hatch, it looks to be in excellent condition if a little short on creature comforts, what I was actually after from the site is some first hand experience of reliability (major factor) and economy. On the face of it the urban MPG does not look too clever according to the Auto trader website - 29mpg around town. Can anyone advise if this about right or is it on the conservative side? I only ask because my Citroen Picasso 1.6 petrol did 36mpg around town.

The vehicle in question is a "classic" model, does this normally come with power steering and central locking as standard as it is not mentioned in the advert?

The classic trim doesn't have central locking, but I believe it does have power steering. If your after central locking look at the comfort/elegance trim.
