GTech Pro performance meter

Featured Replies

Do you have to set it up for vehicle weight etc. Denis?

That Impreza sounds damn quick! and I didn't think a 328 would do quite so well, either (ah, but modded, you say ;) )

I think that they use on-silicon accelerometers, so are pretty accurate as long as they're on the level (they might only have sensors in one plane).

Edit: that is to say that they will only *under*-read, because if they're not level then you'll lose the non-horizontal component of the acceleration. So that Imprezza's quite quick

Weight is needed for HP calculations only. Both my sons have taken their cars to a local public weighbridge today. I will do so when I next fill up the 4X4 and then borrow the meter.

Denis, may I refer you to this thread? :D
