Hazard switch

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I've been having electrical issues recently with my 2009 FL Elegance. Anyway the dealer has replaced dash insert which seems to have sorted most things. However my hazard switch in the car still flashes dimly when the car is locked/alarmed, you only really notice this at night, not bright enough to see during the day. If you turn engine off, remove key and get out the switch illuminates dimly, lock the car and it stays on dimly then 30 seconds later starts to flash dimly. I'm not sure if this has always been the same and may be something to do with the alarm. Anybody know or care to nip out and check their car tonight for me?

Cheers in advance.

Had the haz light stay on, in my a4 (not flashing though) after me twa**ing about with my fuses trying to sus airbag warn symbol. Fault finder found fault in comfort / convenience controls not shutting down (after time drained battery / setting low bat alarm off). req'd new nsf window ecu fitting. Sorted. Airbag just req'd reset. I would assume(?) dealers have done a fault test so can only say good luck in sorting.

Hi Ian, mine is exactly the same, I noticed a few weeks back, just assumed it was something to do wit the alarm.
