Samsung Galaxy pairing

Featured Replies

Hi guys, sorry to start another thread on the Bluetooth issues, but I've had a search through on here and can't find an answer to my question.

I finally reached the end of my iPhone contract and have got a Samsung Galaxy S (great phone btw) so it works with the rsap. I've tried to pair to the car, which took a few goes inputting the 16 digit number, and although the phone and car appear to "see" each other, the display (on the car) keeps saying "no network".

Any ideas what I need to do to get everything working?

Hi:

This may be a total red herring, but I very recently purchased a Samsung (not a Galaxy though)and experienced problems getting the phone to connect to external devices. I discovered (by trial and error)that the SETTINGS menu on the phone has an option called NETWORK. From that you can select either MANUAL or AUTOMATIC. My phone was set to MANUAL, but when it was changed to AUTOMATIC everything worked!
