Hi i was just wondering has anyone tried this and what parts were needed etc?

I fitted the columbus,similar unit with sat nav...there is a thread on here about it

Would be a straight swap I reckon. May possibly need some recoding to get MFSW and maxidot display working properly if anything, but you might be OK.

You may need coding if the original unit came out of a car with sound system installed or if it came out of a Octavia as they have different eq settings to the fabia

I also think there are 2 sizes of unit you need the smaller unit

So if i was to order the bolero cd player, from what car would i order it and what do i need with it?

Also what about the columbus, doesnt matter what unit you buy, similar preformance with added navi

yeah maybe your right with the columbus sat nav unit will the phone package on the vrs work with the sat nav?

try ebay, there is only one size columbus as far as i know
