Replacing entire wing mirror

Featured Replies

Got back to my car to find the driver's side wing mirror in several parts across the road and hanging from the door.

Don't think there's anything left to salvage so I've been looking on ebay for some poss replacements.

They need to have indicator and puddle lights, will either of these do?

or am I better going to the dealer for an original.

Other question is where should I send the cover to get it resprayed?

cheers

Bad news. Did you upset a horse? :giggle:

Looks like either will be OK-but price it from a dealer just in case it's around the same?

Any bodyshop will paint it, or a 'SMART' repairer like Chips Away should be able to. You could try yourself-looks like they come primed; alternatively there are these: http://www.superskoda.com/skoda/octavia-ii/octavia-ii-facelift-stainless-steel-matt-rs6-mirror-covers-ki-r

They would match the roof rails nicely.
