my inner cv joint has developed play in it about a month ago, and im really struggling to find a replacement.

ive been into two garages, had one ordered, using my reg number, and the same type comes through, its a large circular one, whereas the one on my car is rather narrows, and, to look at, looks asif it has a 'plate' to attach it to the gearbox.

anyone know what i'm on about, id upload pictures, but im no good at this haha

Were either of those garages Skoda dealers? I would order the part using the VIN not the registration number, and from a Skoda dealer if necessary.

i've thought of that, but i dont really have dealership money atm :(
