Facelift 4x4 TDI Estate

Featured Replies

Having just read the Scout 'Common as muck' thread it got me to thinking that I've never seen another FL 4x4 TDI Estate since I first considered buying one and joined this site, 2 years ago now...

Just in case my own CR 1.6TDI decides to do anything funky it'd be nice to have a contact with which to compare notes.

Anybody else on here got one?

Edit: Just noticed; my 100th post - TON UP!!!

Why the (relatively) quick change? (If you don't mind me asking)

I have one, a 1.9tdi in Aqua Blue 59 reg. Got it in Jan last year and just caught the last of the snow, it coped well,

I am also involved in Field Archery which takes us onto some very muddy areas where it got us in and out of fields just as well as the "big boys".

This winter we had over 2ft of snow around here and got around very well on standard tyres.

Had cruise controle fitted by Ben at Shark, all in all an excelent car with good economy. :)

well, really pleased with the car, but with the vat deal ending on diesel and the new vat free deal on petrol extended to the superb it seemed a good time to 'upgrade'.

I have 2.0 Tdi PD 4x4. One of best cars I have ever owned. Pulls like a train, grips road well particularly in snow and get I 47-50mpg.Has most attributes of Scout without lots of that exterior plastic trim. Always thought Scout with all that trim was modelled on a training shoe!
