I'm rubbish at offsets etc so...

would these fit onto the vrs? all i know is tire size is 205/50/16

Yes they will be fine,

IIRC they have an ET50.

My winters are 205 55 16

My winters are 205 55 16

So are mine.

I think 205/50/16's will give you a 4% speedo difference, while 205/55/16's will be just 0.8%. I take it you are looking at these for the wheels only, so will be replacing the tyres anyway.

the offset for these is 42 not 50 but i believe they will still fit ok

Strange, I've just checked my set (from a 2007 A3) and they are 16x6.5J ET50!! Unless the same style rims for the A4/A6 have a different offset?

Either way, they'll be OK

BTW I think the offset is the same for VRS & L&K?

Wheels with the current tires are £100 new winter tires Vredestien wintrac xtreme are £100 at the moment hoping come summer time it goes down

The winter tyre prices do go down in the spring but they frequently become unavailable too . . .
