Octavia VRS Questions

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Im setting myself up to binning my dull ford and get an Octavia VRS but am wondering if there is anything i should be looking for. Id be looking to buy a 2 or 3 year old car so most of the initial niggles a car gets would have hopefully have been ironed out but is there more to look out for? For instance when should a timimg belt be replaced and at what cost etc etc?

Id be forever grateful for any tips regardless of how small you might think they are and if im in the wrong forum for this could i be pointed in the right direction please.

Thanks in advance and i look forward to joining the club of Guys & Gals who drive the Thinking Persons Sports Hatch.

So an FL ( facelift then ) timing belt with water pump is ( recommended) at 4 years now , problems with Teeves 60 abs as in all vag cars but if you go for a Fl it will have the Teeves 70 anyway
