Parking sensor clip

Featured Replies

Not as silly as it sounds - was the front. Guy in front of me slammed on the brakes because he though he'd crash and I slowly edged onto the roundabout only to find him in my way :giggle:

So I need to repair / replace the parking sensor clip/housing just to the left of the number plate.

Any guides / part numbers available - i've searched but may not have used the right search strings.

Hi mate missing 2 at the rear of my octy vrs and the kit is a genuine VAG one, but was fitted after manufacture so is different to the factory fitted ones. I ordered 2 new clips from skoda from mine and when i picked them up they were small rubber surrounds and not clips like i needed. You can only order these as part of the complete kit and cant be bought seperately :(.

Basically the factory fitted ones have a sticky pad/clip that mounts behind the bumper and the sensor is clipped into this and the small rubber surround just fills the gap on the outer side and the aftermarket VAG ones clip through the bumper (so to speak) using a small round plastic clip that clips to the sensor itself and holding it in place. Bit difficult to explain, but hope you get it lol.

If you do manage to find some then if there is and extra 2 then please keep me in mind and a few beers in it or will cover the cost of the clip for yourself.

If you need the factory parking aid sesnor front brackets then try 1ZO919485C We have bought these in the past. You can also get the dealer-fit brackets. Relies on the storeman being a bit interested in helping you.
