Very nice.

I had our 2.0 TDi Elegance with sports pack and leather (list 16k iirc) for a few nights and I loved it. If I had the money i'd certainly consider one.

Seems like a good deal, hardly run in really. How come they were off loading so soon?

Had mine just over a month now and have been well impressed, great car, great fuel economy, build etc. etc. highly recommended.

Only niggle I have with it, and it's the same on VW's that I know of, is I always get in the Car start the engine, get comfy, then put my seat belt on. But the bloody thing keeps pinging at me to put my seat belt on wish I could disable it.

I think it is possible but you need diag equipment.

Or you could just put your seatbelt on.

I had that problem on the loan astra to drive back from SW France after my miserable Xmas. Even when clicked in, it would occasionally start pinging constantly saying belt is undone. Not pleasant when you can't shut the thing up

The story was, that i went in to my dealer looking to buy a 105 elegance, but with the pegasus/sports pack. And i'm doing a long journey from North Scotland to South England and back at the end of March, so would have liked new car by then. but dealer was unable to find a car in UK, so would have meant waiting till early April for a new build. Had just test drove the 2.0 PD TDi with 17's and Full Onyx leather (worth over 18k) as mentioned in 1st post, and eventually the dealer offered me that for same price as 105! have to wait till end of Feb for them to be able to release it. But i couldn't say no to the offer.

Read my thread on gearbox issues (under New Octavia) - still got 'em.

Waiting to hear from Bickertons Sheffield, regarding what Skoda customer service have to say on the matter.

Hope u get it sorted soon Tomo2001, keep us informed. Had a 2002 Octy 110 TDi for last 3 years, with no problems, so never experienced skodas aftersales service. Hope they come through for you here!
