2010 170bhp DSG Elegance Estate

Featured Replies

Hello All,

(mods please advise if this goes against rules and tell me how to correct, deliberately not mentioning price or contact?)

I tried to list this in the for sale forum but I am not a "freedom" member and doubt I ever will be as I am not a big internet user so will not get the post count needed.

Unfortunately for me, my work conditions have changed and I will no longer receive an allowance for a company car, so my very much loved Superb must go, I have been offered an offer from the dealer I bought it from but also wondered if anybody on here as got advice for selling a newish car of reasonable value?

My key concern is that it is financed through Skoda Finance and whilst I can pay the shortfall of value versus what's owed I am worried this might put potential buyers off?

Also, as far as I can tell, any private buyer would benefit from the warranty even if not bought from a dealer? I can only see a cost saving for any potential buyer as they will not get the dealer markup - or am I missing something?

The car is in A1 condition and fully serviced as required with a good list of extras over standard and obviously I want to get as much as possible for it but understand I wont get what a dealer would.

Any advice appreciated.

Try www.wewillbuyyourcar.com if you decide against a private or dealer sale. Sold my BMW to them earlier this year and got a better price than I'd been offered as px on a new car.

If you want someone in the trade to buy your car drop me an email with the details although it will probably be the same as your local dealer.
