well i was looking at a userd vrs tdi 57 plate, however there was no service book which made me a bit wary, plus the price of it compared to ordering a new one is neglible.

so ordered a new vrs petrol manual in white with full leather and parking sensors today. was not sure about white as a colour but saw one in a showroom as a demo and thought it was lovely.

excited about getting it, never owned one. but to have a brand new one, hopefully should give me peace of mind motoring.

anything i should watch out for?

yes watch out for the going back and forth in your head whether or not to get the alloys powder coated black or anthractie, looks great on a white car i reckon. Will be getting mine done as soon as it arrives which should be 3 weeks as I have confirmation of it leaving the factory. you order DSG or not?

all you guys need to stop ordering white, its becoming the new race blue, lol.

Don't go black wheels, i nearly went piano black but since my anthracites have been delivered i'm sooooo glad i didn't go piano black.

Make sure you order the spare wheel, it comes with a free jack which you will not get with the standard tyre inflation kit

thanks guys. the racing blue was nice but i think white is nice, unfortunately the car has been built already with the optional extras being full leather, spare wheel and reversing sensors.

i would have like the alloys powder coated to be honest but there was only this car and a red one which were ready to be shipped so should be few weeks until i get it. i hope

is there a way the dealer can do the powder coating or maybe someone recommend a place this could be done?

manual petrol, to be honest wanted a diesel for mpg but my office is in the same town i live so not much travelling anymore. what are you guys getting mpg with petrol manuals?
