YAY!

Featured Replies

Yay after a year and a bit and 3 temp sensors I have finally got rid of the "Emissions Workshop" message and the engine managment light.

Congratulations

Just out of interest, have you had yours remapped, and are there any other mods? Have you had any issues with the remap, or any related probs with clutch, brakes, handling, etc..?

I'm thinking my mine needs to go slightly lower for a more planted ride as SWMBO and our little lad felt a bit car sick the other day just driving normally around twisty lanes. I'm not expecting it to be like my old Octavia, but I must be able to tighten it up a bit. And more power wouldn't go amiss on the motorway but can't find much info for the Superb.

Cheers :)

Mine has been remapped by Jabba (excelent map, Bye Bye Golf GTI lol)No problems with the remap, I have fast road pads on just in case with the extra power and I have lowered it by 40mm but would like it lower. The 18' rs4's give it a bit more rubber contact and makes it handle great for a big old bus.

Cheers for the info

Have you got the standard brake set up then, just with better pads? Also, what suspension did you go for?

I'm thinking of getting the Eibach Pro springs for a modest 30mm drop, and then a remap from somewhere. I really want a switchable map though so I can put it back to standard when I need to.

30mm not 40mm drop like said before  Eibach Pro springs on mine was gonna go for 312mm brakes on the front but never got round to it. Running Tarox Fast road pads that still after 25k still look nearly new  They must be ******* up the disks be know tho looking as good as they do after so long.
