better brakes arrived

All excited! Just recieved a pair of front hubs, calipers and carriers, discs and pads to replace the not so confidence inspiring OE stuff. They are off a scirroco, 101 miles on the clock, huge dent in front. There is no observable wear and less rust on the discs than I normally have each morning.

Only downside, the weight!!! Seller told the courier company pack weight of 2 kg's. HO HO HO big time porkies!!! I guess a few members have hefted a hub assembly, and know the last burst blood vessel how heavy they are. Will try to borrow a scale to check the actual weight.

Unfortunately, I'm off the France and Germany for a few weeks and won't have time to swop over before I go. Some thing to look forward to when I get back.
