Using VCDS to get live data?

Featured Replies

Ive read you can use VCDS to log live data? Im particularly interested in logging boost pressure! Any one provide a step by step guide of how to do this please?

Log in to 01 engine section, then "measuring blocks" and group 11 is boost requested and actual.

Thanks mate. What would a standard vrs run boost wise and a remapped one run?

stock should be 1.3 bar - so VCDS will read 2300mbar (as it includes atmos) Mapped depends on the mapper/tune, but I would not like to see more than 1.6 bar on a stock PD130 turbo, especially a KKK.

cheers

No worries. I am very familiar with this as its what I do for my mapper when trialling out various maps. :D
