How the heck do you stop these damn scratches showing up!

I machine polished mine last weekend, got it all lovely and shiney, smooth etc...

200ish miles later and light scratches appear here, there and everywhere lol! Am I going to have to buff it every week :o.

I make a habbit of parking miles away from other cars in carparks etc (missis hates it).

What's the secret?

Keeping dirty so you can't see then lol. To me it seems like really soft paint. Might be worth trying loads of wax and see if that works

buy a lellow one

Good advice there.

I've had to accept that it'll always have scratches, no matter what care is taken. After all, it's a machine that travels up and down the roads in all weathers. If you want it to remain perfect, leave it in an airtight bubble in a secure garage. Otherwise, get it driven and enjoy it! :D

And watch the paint fade :giggle:

believe it or not I have no fade on mine, it must have been looked after (or repainted lol)

Just drive it at night ;)

I am going to machine mine hopefully this week. I know it won't stop it but I just need to take back 144k worth of swirls to try and be happy lol.

I Have bought some colnite wax and some quick detail with carnuba so hopefully that will hold it off.

Wax has done the trick on mine :)

Plenty of wax!!!

Or swap it for a silver one!? :giggle:

Try Zymol cleaner wax or maguiars gold class both work very well on dark coloured cars.....
