I am interested in aftermarket head unit. I just wanted to know what other people use and what's good really? I quite like the DVD head units but unsure of fitment? Does the fabias need to be a double din or can you get adaptors/ cages?

Single or double DIN is fine. With double you'll lose the drawer/hole under the radio. Single retains this.

I've got a pioneer single DIN. Happy with it, certainly sounds good via the standard speakers compared to VW's offerings. Full iPod control etc.
