central Locking woes

Featured Replies

Ok central locking starting to act strangely.

When the car is locked with the Key fob. car locks as normal but then after a while the 4 way flashers start flashing.

If i then unlock the car with the fob and leave it the car will lock its self and all is fine.

Anyone any ideas.

Car going to dealer on Monday anyway but would like to know whats going on

Hmmm you and me too but slightly different, all the door work except for the drivers door, ( pain or what ). Went to the stealers who put new actuator in, still did not work, £170. Then told me to fix it it's another £500. Said it had burnt something out but could not say what. Any way window still works fine as does the wing mirror..

If anyone could offer advice on what or where the problem might be

Go back to the dealer and ask them to put the perfectly good actuator back in and give you your £170 back!
