Having replaced the winter tyres last week with PS3's I decided to get 4 wheel alignment carried out. The winter tyres (Avon Ice Tourer)had been on for just over 10,000 miles and were just starting to show slight sawtoothing on the rears , fronts were fine but steering wheel off line. Took the car to FCM Wheel Alignment Netham Road Bristol. Lee, the person who carries out all the alignments was very helpfull, He explained the importance of 4 wheel alignment, and explained the adjustments he was making as they appeared on the computer display (you also get a printout). The price of the alignment depends on the number of adjustments required up to a max of £90. I have since driven 600+ miles and the steering and handling has been transformed, No need for constant slight tweaks to steering wheel when going along motorway, feels a lot more precise. Definitely worth the £60 it cost me.
