Budget remaps

Looking for my 2008 VRS PD Octavia estate remapping and these coming in at £199.

Seems bargainous to me! Anybody got any experience of these guys?

What about http://www.r-techpower.co.uk/r-tech-skoda-remap.htm they usually charge around £250 and include rolling road time if you visit them. They also will come to you and do it where ever you need it. Google them, you will struggle to find a bad word about them.

Had my Mk1 vRS remapped about 3-4 years ago with no issues.

More BHP use DNA remaps you'll have no probs there.

Yes I want my 2001 Fabia Elegance PD100 remapped from More BHP they have a postal service online where I post my ECU and they remap it and send it back. It is half price so £99.

Is this a wise step to take?

Are there any catches?

How do more-bhp get 58bhp increase from stage 1? ;) Straight away alarms bells sound...

To be fair most tuning companies up the expected power increase. I've had two cars with DNA maps which more-bhp use and can't fault them. They don't use stupid amounts of boost at high rpm like some companies and still make similar gains without stressing the turbo too much.

You get what you pay for mate. ;)

Best £200 I spent. And over 4 years ago.

There is only one place i'd take my car for a stage 1 remap and that is Shark Performance. I haven't heard anything bad at all about these guys.
