Hi Been away from this forum for awhile, trying to catch up on everything. If you change speedo MPH to show in the MFD, any problems when car goes in for its next service/repair etc? Will the dealer reset to factory defaults? I have searched for answer but could not find.

To answer my own question, I have know had the MPH (including Temperature display)to show in the MFD,Using VCDS. Thanks to Adam from the Octavia Forum. Basically it just shows up as another item in the menu, oil Temperature, average speed, mileage etc. I assume if I leave it displaying anything other than MPH no one would be the wiser.

where can i find out if anyone in or near Wigan (or Liverpool) can do this for me on my yeti? haven't seen a thread on it here for locations of peeps happy to do this etc?

Hi, i have an Octavia estate 2L diesel Mk 5, which i believe is a 5e5. First thing in the mornings it can take a bit of turning before it starts. Once it's going its not to bad, but i do charge it every now and then and then it behaves for a little while. I do get some funny messages when its a bit slow to start, so i am thinking that maybe its time for a new battery as it is still on its original battery. My question is; AGM or EFB battery. Some say EFB, but the car is fitted with a Varta AGM b

Hello all Newbie here who this morning picked up our brand new family-bus (we have 4 kids) Kodiaq vRS. I ticked the Pan' Roof and full 'Suite' leather options. It was bought to replace our Discovery 5 D300, which we've owned from new (2021), but as expected was turning into the typical JLR money-pit. Looking forward to getting some miles on 'Keith' (that's what the kids have named it!) and joining in here....

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?

Hi guys My Octavia 2 FL makes rattling noise on rough asphalt, exposed stones, small cracks. Brakes, system ATE, disc 280mm, pads Febi 16328. When I press brake pedal quiet. When release rattling comes back. I even replaced one rubber sleeve. New Febi sleeve is more loose than orginal ATE Skoda OEM sleeve. I replaced guide pins for brand new ATE. MOT in March nothing in suspension. I know sway bar link clattering noise. I think left side is louder than right or it is noise from left wheel. Any

Skoda Fabia mk2 Greenline Decided to replace the original very tired rear shock absorbers . Ordered 2 new ones off ebay , ebay said they'll fit . Got the first old one off surprisingly easy and lo & behold the new ones are longer , by about 3 cm I'd say . They look as though they'll still fit ( presume they are from the standard Fabia ) , but would they be ok to use ? Bearing in mind its just a commuter car , so not worried about performance handling ! Thanks for any advice
