Went to Eastbourne this week ( see topic 610 miles ) and while the car was stood still for a few days and with me only going back to the car to get items the battery on the keyfob ran flat, the same thing happend last September while I was in Eastbourne??????. I could not unlock the door with the remote but could lock it, I have fitted a new battery this morning and it is fine now. Why does it keep going flat??.

Cheap battery? It's not one of them 20 for a pound pack is it?

It was a Energizer battery I bought from Tesco.
