Cupra bushes and Eibachs springs

Featured Replies

...Painful weekend, nothing wanted to come apart, nothing wanted to click back together again. :dull:

Had to use a big fat industrial style car strap to get things back in. Big thanks for the people who had some input in the guide.

Results?

On rubbish/uneven roads and motorway speed you feel the road more, non standard suspension if you like. but on pot holes, heavy braking, cornering, its near perfect, no wallowing, no floating moments, no crunches/bottoming out, this is how the standard car supposed to be! Not sure which had the most effect as it was done both at the same time, but overall it was definitely worth it. It does not handle like a cow anymore!

imo think this maybe more important to do than the 312 conversion (though the 312 conversion is much easier to do).

i had mine lowered on eibachs the other week along with putting my whiteline rarb on the stiffest setting and it doesn't half improve things.

i bought some cupra bushes last thursday just after the powerflex front bushes now can't wait to see if it'll make a difference

Did you find the cupra bushes ok to press in compared to the oem ones? Any pointers on putting the actual bushes in? Im doing it tomorrow you see!
