My Skoda Octavia (face lifted ) with DSG shows below mileage numbers .Can somebody validate if these numbers are possible ?

City Driving : 47.5 Miles/gallon - my average city speed 50KMPH

Highway Driving : 78.75 miles /gallon -- I usually do 130 Kmph on an average

Appreciate your answers .I love this vehicle, till now clocked 8000 Kms (in 6 months )

Seems unrealistically high to me.

Also, having been to Bangalore, I find 50kph in the city a little hard to believe

That's impossibly high I'm sorry to say.

How are you calculating MPG while driving @ KPH ?

Have you had the car from new. If still under warranty its back to the dealer

Not sure how you would get them unless the Indian trip computer is set up differently to the UK but are you sure those figures are not kilometers per gallon?

If so then 47.5 km/gal = 29.5mpg

and 78.75 km/gal = 48.8mpg

Both of those figures are then realistic.
