VRS suspension refresh

Featured Replies

Morning

Now spring is here and I'm keeping the VRS for another year I've decided to spend a little on her

New tyres and refurbed wheels to go on but now looking at suspension, there are numerous squeaks and rattles at the front and am going to speak to Awesome GTI later for advice and purchase

Thinking powerflex ARB, wishbone and engine mount bushes, anything else I should consider ??

I have read most threads about this but would appreciate some confirmation

Thanks

Powerflex wishbone bushes are ****.... They pop out. You want the superpro bushes instead, these are a completely different design!! Much better!!!!

Sling a rear ARB on if you haven't already, then your car will be set up nice!

Rear arb will come later, it has been considered

I did actually mean superpro, dunno why I put powerflex :(

S3 bottom brace?

what rear anti roll bar do u fit to the vrs

whiteline 22mm or 24mm, eibach 25mm/neuspeed 25mm/28mm autotech 28mm.

Depends how you want the car to handle, a great compromise without too snappy a setup is the 24mm or 25mm rear bars. check out dpm one of our site sponsors, Damian will sort you out as he stocks most of them
