I live in southern England and am thinking of buying a Skoda Fabia Estate. I like the combination of a narrow car (I have a narrow garage) and a lot of boot space.

Joining this forum so I can pick people's brains about the various options available on a new car. In particular, is the SatNav worth having? I would like a built-in SatNav, but am wondering whether the Amundsen is as good as a portable TomTom. How cheap/easy is it to update the maps? I gather it is not possible to specify a destination by 7-digit postcode, is it possible to specify latitude & longitude? Is it possible to add one's own points of interest?
