Hello peeps. I got my cupra lower rear wishbone bushes fitted the other day. Then I get told the lower intercooler pipe needs replacing. It did the classic 'pop off' trick a couple of times so I fitted a large jubilee clip, seems this might have squeezed the pipe a little too much. So I though I'll buy another one. £80 + vat seems a lot for a bit of piping! :wonder: Chap reckons some boost could be escaping which could be overworking the turbo. I trust the chap as he's always been fair. I need to sort this for Castle Coombe.

So do I bite the nasty bullet or fit an ebay special off a breaking 06 plate or similar?

Its just those stupid little metal tabs which can get worn, especially when its been on and off a coupled of times after the cam belt change. Hopefully they'd be OK on an 06 plate.

I'll put a wanted ad just in case someone has one lying around.

Nope, I bought a new one when mine was ******, didn't see the point in getting a used one which would more than likely go after a while again away.
